Work structure

Steering Committee
Responsible for running the platform;
Members: 17 experts from the European solar thermal industry, research and politics.

Focus Groups
Coordinate the work activites of one field of research; provide informattion for a wide number of members interested in a particular field of solar thermal research such as the building sector, industrial applications or market and policy issues.

Working groups
Work on different issues such as fundamental research, applied research, market deployment and political instruments etc.
Members: all interested European experts can apply for membership.

National Mirror Groups
Work on the national level to provide input for the ESTTP and harmonize the European and national research agendas. National mirror groups will be initiated by national experts.

Support Group
Support the platform. Members: every institution interested in the development of solar thermal technology can become a member. You will be informed about all activities of the platform and will be listed on the ESTTP website.

High Level Group
Offer advising over the work of the platform; Members: relevant persons from different industry branches, research institutions and policy will be invited to become a member.

Secretariat
ESTIF, EUREC Agency and PSE AG are responsible for running the secretariat.
